i think the problem with brady and the pats is that they're a very well rounded team, and so brady doesn't stand out.. he can go, and the pats would still be ok... he is a great qb though.. NOT the next montana.. no one will ever be montana

i second.. or third or whatever a vote for peyton.. that guy is just disgustingly good, and he's definately the most important person on his team

McNabb

He's a great player, but stumbles under pressure. As much as i'd love to see an eagle get an mvp, I dont think it's gonna happen. Mcnabb is not all that good when you need him(superbowl, leauge championship game) and westbrook is more of a yardage gainer, not a up the middle power back. He dosent have the versitility. Pinkston refuses to run the middle routes due to size and T.O. is battling injuries as well as bing a general A-hole.

A lot of that's true, but I'd like to point out that Westbrook is very versatile in a different way. While he's not the kind of running back that can double as a fullback, he can act as a receiver pretty well as we saw last year. He seemed to be extremely effective at that. He can fill in for Pinkston in the middle. TO is great but he's not a team player. He's like Moss- a one man show that plays for himself.

That's the problem . They make a great team, but there si no 1 definitive superstar on the eagles. No 1 person that is versitile and can play extremely well.

Well what is a superstar in your book?

you have to be able to play well at your position and fulfill all the needs of a position. For ex. a halfback should be able to run the outside and middle, run enough time a game without getting worn out like some backs, be able to catch, have good ball handling and put up good numbers to boot.
