nothing will happen to him. he's an enforcer (not the good kind, similar to a goon in hockey) and secretly the sheriff likes that.

Like others have said, quit running from the cops and the chances of being roughed up will be VERY slim. That fucking geek that was snapping pictures and then flipped off the cop deserved what he got. Quit playing the victim role when you do stupid shit like that.

When pulled over it's best to treat a cop the same way you treat an abused aggressive dog.. No sudden movements, all smiles, just play dumb and nice.

Yep, I got pulled over for no seat belt once, and the guy demanded to know where I worked, I asked what that had to do with my seatbelt, the dude turned purple and the cop with him made him step away... I thought he was going to flipping kill me....

I just answer them and do the meek citizen thing if I get pulled over now... No sense in asking for trouble. Most officers aren't jackasses either, but there's always one in the bunch.

If you're going to run don't stop especially if he looks like a former linebacker who put on a few pounds. Those kind of cops will wreck your world not even trying. "don't know his own strength syndrome"

We don't know why he ran from the cops, and now we'll never know. It was probably due to fear and fear can make us do stupid things.

No, there's not, and you're full of shit. The reality is that for every 100 police encounters every single day in this country, about 99 are non-incidents. Check your facts before you spew bullshit.

EDIT: As for this cop, he should have been charged with excessive force or even attempted murder and locked up. You can tell from looking at him in the various videos that he's a sack of shit and should be fending for himself in prison.

What he said is absolutely true, there are a lot of instances of police abusing their power you never hear about, it's probably even much higher than 1:100, but with that said there are probably 100,000:1 normal instances where nothing happens. He wasn't saying that every police counter was like this and went unreported. But it happens a lot, I use to live in Long Beach in the ghetto and police fucking people up for no reason wasn't uncommon at all. And nothing was ever done about it.

Not to inflame the argument, but police are going to be more aggressive in areas where the public they deal with are more aggressive. In ghetto and similar areas, you can expect that the vast majority of citizens are going to be less than appropriate when dealing with an officer. Even people who normally would be far more compliant tend to "show off" to keep their credibility. It is a cyclic problem.
