Hi, just wondering if some people could help me.

I'm looking at two pre-built systems. One is intel based & the other is Ryzen based. Ryzen system been £150 more.

Anyway specs are:

Ryzen system:
Ryzen 1700
16GB RAM
GTX1070
120SSD & 1TB HDD

Intel System:
i5-7400
16GB RAM
128GB SSD & 2TB HDD
GTX1070

You know didn't realise I hadn't put it at the bottom sorry. I was going to ask what would be the better Choice mainly for gaming & editing with some streaming will have two 1080p monitors? But will be gaming on one

No problem 🙂 . They will be about the same speed for current games, but the Ryzen has 8 cores and 16 threads instead of 4 and 4. That's going to make it much more future-proof.

Do you have any other choices, like an i7-7700?

I have options for the i7 but the price is over £150 more. Breaking it down 8 cores 16 threads sounds the better choice and it can be overclocked if need be in the future.

I don't know much about Ryzen that's the main problem.
