Pre-order Microsoft Zune 30 GB MP3 / Video Player $249.94

Forgive me for this social commentary interruption, but this product is likely going to be identically priced at every location it's sold, right? Why give Walmart your money?

Not a deal, just MSRP. Battery life promised around 10 hours, much less than iPod. I have another question, can it be used as USB drive as iPod can? If not, then iPod wins.

Battery life does suck... Can you play non-protected MP3's on this thing? I heard you can only share protected songs through the wifi... that true?

Lol another iPoo fanboy spreading lies.

12 hours music, 3.5 hours video

Keep in mind the device is powering a 40% larger screen than the iPoo, and a wireless chipset. Zune is going to rock 😀

Zune software can automatically import most music, pictures and videos from iTunes and Windows Media Player. Unprotected content that does not have digital rights management protections must be in the following formats to be imported by Zune software (Music: WMA, MP3, AAC; Photos: JPEG; Videos: WMV, MPEG-4, H.264

Your mistake man. I even do not own iPod. But I forgive you.

nice looking. but still need some reviews to decide. thank you

once they come out I am sure reviewws will follow. early adopters get the shaft, and all the envy as well!😉

I don't see why you'd get this over ipod, from the initial specs it looks like they screwed up the feature that would set them apart(wifi)

In for one, the brown looks like the best color and the screen is huge. I'd get the ipod but I don't want to pay $30 for a case which makes it double the size and ugly. My mini will have to hold me over for now..

i'm also going to buy one with the hope and faith that the firmware will be hacked and broken and wifi will work like normal without all the locks and restrictions.

you know it will happen eventually
