Our father lord in heaven
And to the republic for which it stands
Thy kingdom come

Give us this day as we forgive those
Who so proudly we hail
And crown thy good intertemptation
But deliver us from the twilight.
Amen
Word up!

Liberals have again rewritten history to the point it comes nowhere near the truth. There is no such term as seperation of church and state to be found and nothing in the writings to lend credence to how it is popularly thought of as it is taught in our Liberal school system.

Read the Constitution. Count the references to God and a Creator.

Those 'drunkards, atheists and slave owners' had ten times the balls of anyone you know!

I agree totally, right wing christians immediately assume that whenever God appears whether it be on currency or in the pledge they assume it is the christian god.

It is meant as a higher power or a being of which is worthy of worship - i.e. a philosopher's god.

May I also point out to the idiots who say taking god off of currency and the pledge is ruining our contries heritage: In god we trust and under god in the pledge were not added until the 50's or 60's and were lobbied through congress by the Lion's club (A christian organization) hence the christian connotations. Removing these will in my view be MORE PATRIOTIC since we will be returning things back to the way our founding father wanted them and they thought up the constitution so we should listen to them.

They new what they were dong with seperation of church and state.

I only wish out current prez would reflect on old Washington when he warned of entangling alliances.

and I'm a planet.

If I am flamed, my minions shall reign down on you.

a) Actually, yes, there is. If there is any sort of a government-sponsored school system, it must not give preference to any one religious belief or dogma.

b) I'm looking at it as we speak. No references to a creator, period, in the constitution.

c) Your idolatry and disrespect towards our founding fathers saddens me. These men were not perfect, and they were not flawless. They were extraordinary, no doubt - but men like them still exist.
