The 2nd one is real. He got knocked out!

Anyway, most of these pranks are just stupid. Bumping into people, laughing in people's face, etc... It just seems that people want their 15 minutes of fame no matter how stupid it is.

The YouTube partners with prank channels make a lot of money.

I know guys like FouseyTube make good money. That Russian guy who did the Friday the 13th prank does very well also.

This is only a small number though. Most pranksters don't make anything.

Some of these are fake and others are just stupid. Who pranks their GF on their 5 year anniversary by saying they cheated? Hilarious!

Sadly many pranks like jokes don't come off the way the pranker intended.

The lottery one was fucked up if it's real LOL

You're right. That is one of the most fvcked up prank. Lost of job & marriage in one fell swoop. I saw that vid awhile back. I wonder if anyone followed that story and ascertain the validity of it.

Most pranks lose their humor when actually executed. Pulling a chair out from under someone, for example.

Stuff like flour in a blow dryer, putting a rubber band on the sink sprayer trigger...are those pranks or practical jokes? That kind of stuff I do think is funny.

I think the difference is mean spirited vs light hearted.

Some of them are putting people in situations where the normal response is to feel anger or fear. Those are mean spirited pranks. Other ones like playful tricks, are more acceptable, and are the subject of shows like candid camera.
