Ok, long story short, a few co-workers and I go back and forth playin little jokes on each other. It started last week when I took his office chair and put a border around it and then filled it with nasty staticy packing peanuts. Then when I got back he had taken the wheels off of my chair, so that was fun tryin to roll around in.

But today's was awesome! I put some black tape over his mic and earpeace on his phone so he wouldn't be able to talk on his phone. If that wasn't going to be good enough, his mother's birthday is today, so he called her to wish her a happy birthday. He called and and just kept saying "Hello? HELLO?" After checking all of his connections and hanging up on her, he found the tape. He then proclamed "It's on!" and called her back.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do next, but I'm sure his retaliation will be swift and hilarious. Oh, and there isn't really a point to this, I just felt like sharing, and also wanted to see if anyone here had any good ideas?

Last year two of my coworkers got me GOOD. I went to meet with my boss, and when I got back, my keyboard and mouse were missing and all the cabinets were locked. The keys were nowhere to be found and my chair was massivly misaligned. The ringer on my phone was set as loud as possible with the highest ringer.

They locked my stuff in my cabinets and kept the keys with them. I figured out one of the co-conspirators and got her to give my keys back, but I literally spent the rest of the morning finding other things they did.

I would have found it a lot funnier had I not had a massive amount of work to get done by that Friday and it literally delayed me almost half a day just getting my desk back to normal.

Use a very clear scotch tape and tape down the "hang up" button under his receiver. Also, I saw on "The Office" where one guy took another's stapeler and put it in jello and let the jello set up around it.

Here's some harmless stuff you can do:

Steal the ENTER key from his keyboard
Steal the ball from his mouse, or if it's an optical mouse, put some tape under it to block the sensor.
Superglue his mouse to his mousepad.
Superglue crayons to each of his keyboard keys (so they are standing straight up).
If you have access to his PC, take a snapshot of his desktop and then remove all the icons from it. Then set the background wallpaper to the picture with the icons.
If he's a youg guy, replace his office chair with an infants high chair.

Hope these help.

Dave

But only if you have understanding co-workers. I have worked places where there is NO sense of humor and you risk losing your job...because you have those who run to the boss and "tattle." *sigh*

Glue pens to his desk. If he has a dark coffee mug, put hot sauce in it Friday nite so it will dry and be unnoticeable Monday morning and spring to life when he adds hot coffee. Shorten one leg of his desk. Leave him a message to call Ms Lyons and give the nimber for the local zoo. A grasshopper in the desk drawer is great too.

Update, he just taped the earpiece on my headset so I couldn't hear, but a co-worker tipped me off :p

In return, I taped him mouse to his mouse pad with double-sided tape, and also plugged a different keyboard into his computer

I wanted to tape some of his keyboard keys down, but there was nowhere to tape them to.
