Ummm, GM's blown V6 makes 260HP. Of course, I wouldn't mind that being in there instead of the 4. (anyone who perfers a 4 over a 6 or 8 can take a step forward so I can get in a good groin shot) As far as the comment about "only 5 digit pricetag cars..." goes, WTF?! Last I checked $20,000 has 5 digits. Though I'd expect 17-18 rather than 19-20.

Of course, you know that 50% of the population dismiss it because it's a GM car (even though it'll be kicking thier asses). Just like people for some unknown reason went to the RSX instead of the Z-28 looking for performance.

I'd take the 4 over the 6. A supercharged 3800 series V6 (that thing is a TANK) is going to be MUCH heavier than the supercharged Ecotec 4 banger. You don't want that much weight up front in a small roadster.

I meant 6 digits.
No $20K car is gonna have 20" wheels. 18" is a stretch. 16 or 17 at the very most is my bet. I will be wrong, but that's my bet.
Oh well, that'll be the first thing people will upgrade to get the look of the car in those pictures that everyone is drooling over.

I'd like a 502 personally... but I'm sure you know how I am. 😀

A/C Cobra=good (british 4 banger)
289 Cobra=Perfect
427 Cobra=More perfect!

How about because the Camaro is unreliable and handles for shiat? Buyers saw a better value in the Mustang. The RSX was released the same year the Camaro died, so it hardly had an impact. Blame the death of the Camaro on its direct competitor, not a 4cylinder good-handling sport compact.

edit: I4 = lighter than V6, NFS4 beat me to it 😉

Pontiac needs this badly to subdue their image as the company responsible for the Aztek.

ignorance.

The Camaro AND Firebird WS6 handle quite well. Ever seen one in action at the track or the auto-x? No? Well go to one and watch. And it helps when you have a lot of power to take you around corners.

Supposed to be right around $20K. :gift:

Yeah I read a report.
Supposely RWD, roadster, supercharged 240hp for about $20K.
If this holds true in the final production, they'll have people lining up.

first thing I've liked to come out of Detroit in a while. If they build a coupe version that had come out with some of the concepts, I'm sold. Not a convertible fan.

I could be wrong, but it think it will base around $20k.. likely without a supercharger. As much as I think this will be a great success, I would be surprised if they could release it w/ 240hp for $20k. Although, the Neon SRT-4 is up there for that price.. who knows.
