Note: If you really want to hide it from your SO, put it on a drive (or drives!) and dismount the volume. Make sure the drive is not mounted on boot. Most women understand the concept of the hidden file, but very few understand mounted vs unmounted filesystems.

I checked the Disk Management part of the Computer Management console under Administrative Tools in the Control Panel, and couldn't find anything obvious... I'd like to know, too - not that I'm trying to hide any porn or anything... 😉

I personally like to hide it, but you know your mom, she has to have everything easy to find! She likes it in one click away amongst other places. Her favorite is the one we made in your room.

I use that, and also regular sweeps of the taskbar because of that hateful "My Recent Documents" on the Start Menu 😛

Somewhat obscure but not really. My brother in law found it on the first day he came to visit and I went to work. He text msged me about 30 minutes later with "nice porn collection!"

Hidden under ~/.smt (for smut) with only read, write, access to root 😛 Empty dir, really I was just screwing around with permissions.

hidden under some folders (system folders) no ones willing to look at...

*cough* anime/real ____ ^_^ <--Its sad, but oh well.

I really should just get an external enclosure, stick all my stuff in it, and hide it from there 🙂
