What is this just sue sue sue? Are you kidding me? wow.....

there are differences in suing and calling the cops. The reporter asked him 3-4 times to stop touching him. even walked away from him. yet the guy continued.

sad part is if the guy used force to make him stop he could get sued.

best thing is to call the cops.

Gonna have to be devil's advocate here...

As annoying as the reporter was being, the first time he told that guy to not touch him, he should have stopped. Once he touched him again the reported could have filed assault charges on him and it was all on camera.

well on that note, the second time he tried to talk the lady and she said no, I guess she could file harrasment charges then 🙄

The PR guy was definitely baiting the reporter. It was his job to run interference and he did a pretty damn good job.

Even as he was touching the reporter, he was smiling and giving his cheesy intro. The reporter would have been hard pressed to just knock the guy out for this pretty harmless touching.

They both knew this, so despite all the huffing and puffing, there was nothing the reporter could really do but take it. His only other options were to get violent or call the cops. Either way, the PR did his job.

The guy was great. He was smiling and presented himself in a non threatening manner the whole time and when the reporter gave up you could see form the look on his face he was quite pleased with the results.

Americans are a bunch of litigating pussies. Is this /really/ a surprise to you? Nobody handles problems on their own any more. The smallest transgression requires a police presence, and a lawyer.

say that again and i'll sue your ass.

back on topic, reporter's attitude is uncalled for. I am boycotting Channel 7 ABC from now on. In fact, I'm going to write a letter.

F

There, I wrote a letter.

I think everyone attacking the reporter should put themselves in his shoes. A lot of people don't like to be touched.

While it isn't obvious on the PR guy's face, the act of touching someone who doesn't want to be touched is vary aggressive body language. He's trying to intimidate the guy. Maybe the reporter didn't handle it the best but I don't know many who would have handled it better.

From the comments:
"Dan's had a problem with people touching him ever since he was an altar boy."

FTW

I don't like people touching me.

Well, I don't like self righteous fucktards putting a microphone in my face, so how about you go fuck yourself, eh?

This only became a situation because the rep insisted on touching the reporter, repeatedly. Who does that?

Some people also don't like to be hounded by reporters.

Anyways, it looked like the reporter was doing all of the intimidating. To boot, he was a good head taller than the PR fellow, and had a cameraman to back him up.

Oh noes a reporter has a cameraman following him! Run for the hills! 🙄🙄

lol i think he wanted to side track the reporter...
job done.
would have been more win if he had done it for the lulz

The PR dude just wanted to give his 'spiel'. It seems like he was sent in to keep reporters away from the person giving the meeting and it seemed to work 😛

yep, and he got some lulz while doing so. good for him.

too bad the reporter freaked out.

"oooh i like that"
"yeah baby, does that make you hot?"
"yeah oh yeah, lower"

PR dude freaks out ( or is totally into it :awe🙂 and reporter gets to badger chick.

Wow...that PR guy though...wtf. At the end of the first video I really thought he was gonna touch the reporter again as he walking away haha.
