Is this a problem with my ISP? It is set for the round robin proxy.teamanandtech.com. It connects to Mandrill's proxy, will download block but get a Bad flush acknowledgement. Any ideas? It wasn't like this last week.
He got backed up about a week ago. Had something to do with his DNS server not resolving to Mika's correctly. I haven't talked to him in a couple of days, so not sure what's going on now.
I lost about 2000 blocks in the last 3 days, do you suppose I will ever see them again? This is the first time I have lost blocks for over a year. Maybe the round robin not such a good idea after all.
Bleep
44K blocks still stuck at Mandrills. Don't worry, your blocks are probably still there. I myself also have about 2k blocks lost and which are still awol when i first joined.
Mandrill just fixed his proxy. It seems Win2K doesn't like his RealTek NIC. He replaced and flushed the blocks. Hopefully he can sit down after a dump like that. 😉
I was able to recieve blocks but not flush them. I moved my pproxy from my old trusty p-233@266 mmx running 98 to a dual p2-300 running Win2k Server. I figured that all would be a snap and I'd be back up and running in no time.
Win2k was/is a new OS for me so it took me abit to find were everything was. Then I started having troubles connecting to any other computers. I tried everything I could think of so I swapped out the nic card with another that was just like it. That did not solve my problem. So I went to a third Realtek based card but of a different chip type. This one worked better but still couldn't send the blocks nor anything else.
I went to a 2 day LAN party that kind of turned into 3 days away from working on the server. So tonight I put in yet another NIC card and all is well in pproxy LAN. I flushed it thru Jay's 43k worth or so. They should be at mika's by now.
I appologize for the delays. On the upside, I got everything back online tonight and it seems to be working properly.
