Add to that the overbearing regulations and uncertainty of the financial reform law that was passed yesterday and it's not going to get any better. Businesses are scared to death of what Obama/congress are doing and saying.

Scared indeed. They can't fuck you in the ass like they used to. Sadly for you, it means you lose your biggest pleasure, the joy the stupid take in being screwed.

I'm surprised there's been no thread about that law. It's yet another 2000+ page monstrosity. Of course Dodd, who is in up to his neck in the financial mess we're in along with Bawney, was so proud to tell us that after it's implemented we'll find out if it's going to work or not.

Utterly amazing. How to further kill the economy in 18 months would be a great slogan for this bunch of incompetents. Businesses who were already paralyzed will go into rigor mortis now.

Not only has Obama not turned it around, he has made it worse with the insane amount of spending.

Obviously they didn't include "None of the above" if Obama and Palin tied at 46-46.

I'll take that bet. His continued destruction of our economy and private industry simply will not be tolerated by people that work (or used to before Obama) and pay taxes.

Most Republicans/conservatives don't like Sarah Palin, so it's ridiculous to think her approval rating is really 46%

I can't fathom her actual approval ratings being that high, the poll has to be suspect. I'm not at all surprised by Obama's poll ratings being low: he inherited a disaster and still managed to add even worse legislative monstrosities on top of it. Two years ago, I would have scoffed at the idea of Obama being a one-term president. I still think it unlikely considering how the media adores him, but he's doing everything in his power to be a one term president.

Classy don't post pictures of the wookie please. It turns the stomach.

You know, perhaps you should consider shutting the fuck up when your racist brain begs to be heard. People like you do more damage to the reputation of conservatives because we are all guilty by association, nevermind the fact that people like you are an insignificant minority in the conservative movement. The most racist motherfuckers I've ever met are democrat voting union members, but then you show up to even the score. Way to go you fucking moron, thanks a lot.

I don't know who is worse, Obama fanbois or Apple fanbois. In the end they are all excuse makers and apologists.

While I might almost always disagree with Corn and even to the point of being offended by his misguided views, kudos for him for having some standards, and for holding 'his team' accountable here (hopefully because it's wrong, and not because it 'hurts their side'.) We see that all too rarely from the right.

And for what it's worth, while I think the major problem with racism has been and is from the right, though most on right aren't 'racist', there are terrible racists on the left as well.

That doesn't make them equal by any means - the lynching score in history is about 5,000+ to zero - but racism is just as bad when it's from the left.

An asterisk by the word racist above - there are degrees, I'm talking about the more explicit and activist racists. I do think there's a far more widespread racism that most of us have fallen victim to but don't think we're 'racist'. The fact is, minorities statistically are not identical to everyone else, and the differences lead most to feel differently about them IMO, however well intentioned we are. We can believe in equality, and yet have racism affect us. If you're selecting a nurse for a loved one, and see a black male or a white male, do you feel some tension/fear more about the black male, even if you tell yourself not to let it affect your decision? Does the thought of the black male handling your loved one's body make you feel uncomfortable or worse? Think about why, what it means about how you feel towards blacks. That's a more subtle racism affecting all races.

When did "wookie" ever become a racist term for a black person? I think the word you guys are looking for is "great person." Seriously, people can go around turning pictures of George Bush into a monkey and there's no problem, but calling Michelle Obama a wookie is racist? Stop creating racism to try to draw attention away from the one thing that matters: she looks like a wookie.
