Dumb broad, just like a typical woman. Worrying about the guy

😛

Wish she would have kept it on the car though 🙂

<<

<< Driver should be tried in court for MURDER!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful car....such horror. >>

heh, is the driver even alive after that?

The s2000 is very close to being my realistic dream car, but this is the biggest problem with it; no roll over protection.

i think if a car doesnt have roll bars, that it is vulnerable to overhead damage. is the roof frame really strong enough to hold a car from collapsing when unside down?

Aww man, and he'd just put new fart pipes on it too.

(Those are definitely not the stock mufflers in the pictures.) In other news, man with S2000 discovers why we have racetracks instead of just running races on normal roads.

LOL, i couldn't stop laughing at that video.
Especially when you hear the thud when it hits the bottom of the ditch...

yeah, but poor guy and poor car... :disgust:

WTF were these two clowns doing on a busy road in the daytime? The lead driver obviously didn't know how to drive if he couldn't even catch that slowest spin in the world. I'm just glad an innocent driver coming around the bend didn't run into the spinning S2000. :disgust:

And what a way for such an exquisite car to go. 🙁

Eh, who cares, its just a POS S2000, the world is a better place without it.

As for the driver....wtf????
I could understand hitting the dirt on his right, but wtf was he doing? It looked like he freaked out, slammed on the brakes (bad), jerked to the left (bad), and then didn't bother to compensate back to the right (stupid by an order of magnitude). What a dumbass....you have to have some pretty crappy survival instincts to react THAT damned poorly....

If you watch he doesn't even TRY to turn the wheel back to the right....shit, he could have made it around the turn had he just....I dunno, steered....how the fuq does he make it out of the driveway????

I hate people....

No, his mistake was letting off the gas, then made it worse by hitting the brakes in mid spin! He was clearly counter-steering but not nearly enough.

From what I can tell he entered that turn too fast, let off the gas causing the rear to come out, he freaked and yanked his foot off the gas completely causing the rear to come out even more. At this point, he could've saved the turn if he had just feathered the gas enough to maintain rear wheel traction, but instead he taps the brakes! Then there's nothing he can really do from there.

<< anyone dumb enough to be driving that fast on a winding road deserves to wreck their car >>

Thats not a winding road....those turns were fairly docile....the guy just sucks at driving.

Bottom line is, watch his tires, he didn't do jack squat to correct himself, all he did was turn to the left, then straighten out, he hit the brake early on into the curve, realized it wasn't enough, and yes, probably did let off the gas, but even then, he still could have done ALOT better had he even TRIED to steer back on the road, and the road was in his favor considering he got it back pointing to the left fairly quickly, then had he even overcompensated to the right again he still would have skidded forward and left.

He overcompensated to the left, and he was no longer skidding to the right, which means had he compensated a little less he could have (gas/brake handling aside) kept himself somewhere close to where he needed to be. But instead he freaked out and rather than go back to the right and try to fishtail his ass end around by snapping to the left again (keeping in mind you want to get as much of your car OUT of the other lane as possible as FAST as possible) I mean the car is...well, was, nimble enough to go from a slide to the right to crossing the road in a forward motion he could have managed his way out of it, but he didn't do anything other than overcompensate to the left and straighten out.

Nevermind that fact that when faced with a choice of ripping up the passenger side of his car and driving into a ditch to be flipped and land on his head (with NOTHING to protect it) he chose to land on his head....good call....worst case scenario had he let the slide go he would have torn up his car, talking body work and suspension/wheels needing work/replaced and thats the majority of it, vs. toatalling the car....

All in all, glad he doesn't touch my car.

You got his pedal motions correct, but he was counter-steering (but obviously not enough). He entered the turn too fast, problebly yanked his foot off the gas to tap the brakes which would cause the rear to start sliding out, at this point, he has straightened out his wheel and is cruising straight for the ditch. He tries to counter this by steering to the right, but can't control his rear since he's off the gas causing more weight to shift to the front tires. He further exacerbates his spin by tapping on the brakes once more, causing even more weight to transfer to the front tires. Then he careens off into the ditch.

His main problem(s) was he let off the gas and tapped the brakes (a BIG no-no when about to spin) then doesn't correct it by getting back on the gas to transfer some weight to the rear tires.

Obvously this driver never had a real performance RWD vehicle. Look in the turn before the crash. he hit the breaks at the apex, then did it again when he spun. Just someone who forgot to do your breaking before the turn.

It does look like he let off, making the rear break loose, then hit the brakes, and did not comensate enough. Basicly, he did everything wrong. If you are going to be stupid and race like that on a normal road, atleast do it where no people are, so you and your car are the only casulaty. Racing like that with, #1 someone in the car, #2 on a busy day, and #3 without any "training" is just plain stupid.

If yoru going to do that Atleast do it when you will not endanger anyone else.

I dunno, kinda hard to tell from the sound of it but it sounds like he is off the gas before he even hits the turn. He hit it coming out of the first turn, than sounds like he let off (hard to hear over the engine of the chase car, but its there).

He also didn't turn the wheel very far to the right at all....
Even with the loss of control on the rear he could have done something had he done more than just straightened out. That car handles pretty good and could have come back from it, even with him tapping the brakes (granted had he touched them any more he would have royaly screwed himself beyond any hope of correcting it (not that it matters, hehehe)).

All moot though, the guys an idiot and his toy is trashed....I wonder if he lived?
