Powl: How much did you tip your mail carrier?

Our mail carrier is this wonderful lady and we tipped her $20. In return, she wrote a nice thank you note and included a present of ten stamps!

USPS has done a great job this year. All our packages were delivered in 2-3 days, even the ones to the west coast!

if i was going to tip my mail carrier i'd intentially send the tip to the wrong person so he knows how we feel when we get 10 letters not addressed to us and other people are coming to our house giving us letters that were placed in their mailbox instead. Our mailman fvcking sucks

ditto . .has been happening a lot in the past few weeks .. maybe a new guy .. still no excuse .. still debating if we tip or not - if we do a $10 ... we get more mail than the whole cul-de-sac ... 😀🙂

They can accept tips up to $20. . .
Hmm, didn't know that! Hasn't stopped a previous carrier from accepting $30 in the past (one time)

LOL--that's harsh! Our mail carriers have been contractors, not actual USPS employees. Don't know if that makes a difference.
