In the UK the videologic kyro2 was priced at geforce2 mx level and it sold very well because it offered much better performance. I would exchange my msi geforce 6800 gt for a PowerVR series 5 anyday! :)

The KyroII scaled well with CPU speed too didn't it?

The Videologic Kyro2 was a nice video card which I owned for a long time, I noticed quite quickly that I could easily increase games performance by just adding a faster cpu. It's a shame it didn't have hardware t&l though because that would of increased it's life span, enhanced t&l (which was first tried in the later 3dfx voodoo3 drivers I believe) was all marketing hype and actually slowed down performance! :(
