My new PS has a north-facing fan, but my case has a completely sealed top. Is it OK to install it with the fan basically blowing into the roof? Would it be better/could I install it upside and blow air into the case?

Is this what it looks like?

This is installed so that the fan is on the bottom. The fan pulls air into the PSU from the bottom from the case. This air then exits the PSU from the back.

haha that's funny, did you install it upside down? hahaha

My PSU has the same thing over my CPU.

hahahaha

Do not feel to bad I once put in ram in my computer backwards and pushed like hell and broke my MOBO.

Yeah yeah fine it doesn't even fit in the other way 😱

At least I didn't put in my ram backwards 😉

True true dude. The fan is on the bottom. just like the Seasonic. Turn it over and I think you'll find everything will mount perfectly.

that fan always goes on the bottom and that fan always blows into the PSU not out 🙂

Actually I wondered if your case was like this one my friend got awhile ago - it actually did mount the PSU upside down! Stupid, had to drill new holes for it. I couldn't believe it.

What makes you think that is the top? Look at the voltage number 115V in red on the switch.
Not only that - look at the three pronged A/C plug. In the picture it is upside down. The fan is on the bottom and the A/C connector and switch should be on the upper left corner as you look at it. <LOL>

That's good, since your RAM won't install backwards anyway.

I got it in backwards it was in a Athlon 1.3 Ghz, it take alot of force and then my pc wouldn't turn on.

Well, the fact that it took alot of force should have told you something.
