My new PS has a north-facing fan, but my case has a completely sealed top. Is it OK to install it with the fan basically blowing into the roof? Would it be better/could I install it upside and blow air into the case?

Nope, this is what it looks like:

Fan is definitely on the top.
I assume this means I can install it upsidedown? I'm more worried that for some reason the PS may not function correctly if it's upside down?

The fan is on the bottom and the A/C connector and switch should be on the upper left corner as you look at it. <LOL>What makes you think that is the top? Look at the voltage number 115V in red on the switch.

That's good, since your RAM won't install backwards anyway.
