Okay, I used Powerstrip to overclock my Radeon LE.

Question:

Does it modify something in my registry, or on the card to overclock it? Meaning I no longer have to run Powerstrip?

Or do I have to keep Powerstrip running to maintain the overclocked settings?

im new to it too, and what about all the hyperz and alias things you can turn on or off, do they get saved? and is a reboot needed?? it doesnt say it does...
 
You have to run it to overclock and the setting will last until you reboot. You can just run it and close it or have it call to a shortcut in your startup group.
 
DX8 is perfectly fine. Do you have the proper Registry keys? If so HyperZ will be enabled and you don't have to worry about it.
