Powerquest Apps & Windows ME

Does anyone know how to get Partition Magic & DriveCopy to work with Windows ME? Everytime I try to run it ME pops up a window saying that this program wasn't made to run on ME. I tried looking for info on this on Powerquest's homepage and got nowhere. Can anyone help?

Partition Magic 5.1 is supposed to be Win2K friendly. I think you make a special bootdisk that (I am guessing here) has DOS system files and their batch file so that it can do it's voodoo in a pure DOS environment. PM5.1 is not WinMe friendly. Maybe there will be a similar patch/procedure in the future.
DriveCopy has got to be the sketchiest piece of software I have ever used. I run away. Don't think there is a friendly version yet. Just my .02

i tried using a 98 boot disk then going to safe mode on a winME computer but i get a partition error 108. still trying to get it to work as we speak. anyone know of any equiv programs?

From the following page-http://www.powerquest.com/windowsmillennium.html

WINDOWS MILLENNIUM

PowerQuest is in the process of developing Windows ME compatible versions of the following products:

PartitionMagic
DriveImage
SecondChance
DataKeeper

PowerQuest will provide more information about the Windows ME compatible versions and their availability closer to the release of Windows ME.Text

I know they have a new version of drive image which will work with win me ? win 2k. For partition magic, I would just create a small partition at the beginning of the HD, put win 98 on it, put win me on other primary partition and hide those two partition from each other(use bootmagic) This way, I can use the PM and other nifty programs in win 98.
