hey guys, I know this is a random issue but I would love some other ideas to help. Here's the problem:
I have a powerpoint presentation that was originally created on the latest version of Powerpoint for OSX and it was saved as a pptx file. Around slide 16, I added an mp3 purchased off of Amazon (no DRM) and I want the mp3 to play through till the end of the presentation.
for some reason, if it is set to play across all slides, powerpoint IMMEDIATELY crashes. If song it set to play on click or automatically, works fine, starts and can play through the whole song but once i go to the next slide the song obviously stops playing.
Weird part is that the powerpoint works perfectly on OSX machine and even my other Win7 laptop.
I did a clean Win7 install, all updates, etc. Something has to be conflicting but I don't know what. I've heard that VLC could have issues with Powerpoint so i uninstalled but problem is still there.
here is a link to all my installed programs: http://*******/mz2jN6JDT
also, I have created a new BLANK powerpoint presentation with 10 slides and inserted the audio .mp3 to play across slides and it STILL CRASHES. so it's not unique to my presentation. something is not happy with my powerpoint/system
thanks for any help!!
