Hi, Well this is my first time posting on these forums 🙂 . I've been trolling around here for a few months just didnt have much to say ..

Anyway my question is I have a 300w Powerman powersupply that came with my In win q600 case. Would that be suitable for an AMD XP+1800 proccesor? Im going to be running it on a soyo dragon plus mobo. I couldnt find it on the AMD recommended list . But i did find some evidence it may be the same thing as a Sparkle , which is on thier list.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks

Disregard anything you read earlier. 🙂

The 300w powersupply should be fine as long as you aren't running a large amount of additional hardware.

300w will be enough. It might stutter a little if you add a zillion peripherals but I wouldn't worry about that.

ps- soyo dragon plus = good mobo.

pps- sparkle powersupplies are quality powersupplies. If it's similar to a sparkle, then good for you. You definitely wont have any problems.
