How, exactly, are/were they supposed to be executed? All those guys standing around with rubber gloves implies something... messy.

I believe China employs firing squad.

yeah, those are awesome.

They even bill the family of the executed the cost of the bullet...

Totally awesome.

What if they don't/can't pay? Would they be shot too?

Where do these dumbasses keep coming from? tobacco is on the same level as crack, cocaine and heroine?

He does have a point. Why are some drugs considered "worse" than others? Alcohol and tobacco kill more people and have a more widespread use than the aforementioned yet are socially condoned.

If you actually bothered to address his entire post you'd notice that he doesn't imply that they are on the same level. But no, you choose to employ the strawman approach.

Oh, and he registered BEFORE you...so you're the noob.

Coke utterly destroys your life. It literally ceases your life to a grinding halt. It breaks families, marriage, friendship, career and obliterates every aspect of your precious life.

Coke and Tobacco on the same level? There's a legitimate reason why society accepts tobacco as legal while coke isn't. Your so-cool and deviant, alternative thinking is nothing but trash like any other idiots who think coke is on the same level as tobacco.

you would be utterly shocked at how many ppl use coke casually and do not fit into this brainwashed propaganda you jsut shot out of your ass. I dont condone coke personally but it is like anything else not good for you in excess. People who are compulsive shouldnt do any drugs.

MY BEST FRIEND DID COKE. Stop assuming shiit over your ass in the desperate hopes of coming across as been-there-done-that condescendence. You just made yourself a total troll, I applaud you.

That's the way to prevent crime.

wow your one friend who has a compulsive disorder got addicted to it so that means no one should be allowed to do it....bullshyt.....his lack of self control was his problem. Everything was a decision, the first time he did it nobody held a gun to his head. The second time nobody held a gun to his head. etc etc.

Poor choices = poor outcomes

applaud yourself for being a closeminded jackass.

You are a fvcking idiot. I know several successful people who have done lots and lots of heroine. Just because you know some fvcking moron who used coke to destroy their lives doesn't justify the complete idiocy that is the global drug war.

That's why it's illegal. If you can control your use, meaning, not get addicted and use it whenever you're "comming down," then more power to you. But that's the problem, most of the people in this day are using it to be using it, and have addictive personalities. I'm sure you understand why it's not legal. But hey, if you can use it and not do personal damage to yourself/others, then go nuts.

i think it was vietnam, and it may have been US soldiers executing a bound prisoner

Smart man...

Not so smart man, that was a South Vietnamese officer doing the execution, not US soldiers. Don't get Al-Qaida all riled up again.

Um.. I get it. I was asking him if he wished we wore red gloves here.
"I wish we did that here too"
I think they assumed you meant, "why wear red gloves" because of your lack of a comma.

"I wish we did that here too."
"What, wear red gloves?"

That's how I read it. =/

Think before you post. Of course alcohol is bad for you, but there are things that are worse.

So why should alchohol and cigarettes be legal but not pot?

Do you get all your information from Reagan-era "War on Drugs" propaganda?

Coke isn't that severe. Have you tried it? Do you have first hand experience with it to qualify those ridiculous statements? I do. And it's not bad, and I didn't find it addictive at all. Don't believe the hype.

I think pot should be legal, and alcohol should be illegal. I've always felt that way about it.

I'm not a smoker, so I have no loyalties.

Pot is definitely mild compared to cigarettes or alcohol, so they beat em there. But coke and heroin, etc should be illegal due to the short/long term damage they cause.

are you dumb? cuz it sure sounds like it. You make it sound like it being illegal STOPS people from doing it.

If anyone is trolling, it's you. And just because your best friend couldn't handle a certain drug doesn't mean that the drug should be abolished for all. Some people can handle it just fine. Your friend's inability to control himself tells me more about your friend than it does about coke.

illegality takes control away from the government. If addicts could get coke and heroin without having to rob and steal dont you think that would be better for society? Addicts get there fix and crime rate is lower

Most people in the US can't control themselves, period. Most people in the US overindulge on fast food and are obese. Should we abolish fast-food joints because you have idiots out there that abuse it? Of course not.

Don't blame the substance that a person without self-control becomes addicted to, blame the person. It's their fault.

I understand that, but the problem is, we can't control the people as much as we'd like to. It's easier (and I say this lightly) to control the drug.
