Well... that's not THAT cheap. I mean.. there's cheaper. Splitting +12V rails up doesn't really cost that much and just about everything designed in the last two years is typically 80% efficient (although not always able to pass 80 Plus).

This unit may be less than others because it's of cheaper build quality or something... although an MTBF of 60K is pretty impressive... even if that's at room temperature! Another thing to note is that we're told what each +12V is limited to, but not what the +12V capability of the unit is. Remember: +12V rails aren't additive! This thing may only have the +12V capability of a typical 450W.

Without knowing the build quality, actual output capability, etc. it's hard to make a judgement call. But is $65 really really cheap? Not really.

There is no real way to tell what type of quality it has, or who makes it. Every site I find that sells it has the same generic pictures of it, that look like they were taken with someone's $60 digital camera with too much flash.

Wait on NewEgg special. I picked up two of their Antec True Power Trio 650W PSU for $60 each with free shipping. Great price and excellent PSU. 80,000hr MTBF rating and 5yr warranty can't go wrong. It's Antec built by Seasonic, so you know it's good.
