What I have is: "
7 PORT USB 3.0 HUB High Speed With Power Adapter but I'd like to find an identical aparatus with the exception that it have 7 (or more) SD slots, instead of USB slots.

I'm using it (with small adapters to SDmicro) to produce pre-recorded SDmicro chips for Christian ministry in Mexico. eg: New Testament in an Indian language, or gospel movie or both. The adapters seem to not be very reliable - I have tried various brands and configurations.

I need a similar apparatus that has SDmicro slots, Or failing that, a source of truly reliable usb/SDmicro adapters. Any suggestions?

I know that there are SDmicro duplicators, bu they are very expensive, and not very flexible. That is, they are meant to copy from a prepared SD to a number of them, and to change the language, or content in any way, one must change the 'master' SD chip. With the system that I have, I can prepare a hundred or more different sets of recordings on the laptop, and then switch between them as the need arises on the field. (There are nearly 300 langauges and dialects in Mexico).

Thanks. But I have done that. my problem is not the availability of adpters, but the low quality of the adapters that are available.
I have several of those things and they have yet to fail. Some are six seven year old. But then I am not doing mass duplication

That little box is along the lines of what I'm looking for, but it is not 'powered'. I have tried using a similar apparatus, but recording to seven (or more) SDs at the same time apparently requires considerably more power than a single port on my laptop can supply.
Would this powered usb hub help? https://www.adafruit.com/products/961?gclid=CPiZ_p7QnNACFQYQaQod3ogGrA

The extra sauce with this hub is that you can power it with an external 5V adapter. There's a 2 Amp adapter included, which should be plenty to run even power-hungry cameras, WiFi adapters, and flash disks. The hub is fused for two amps using a resettable PTC fuse. Unlike cheaper hubs, this one has a single chip that provides all 7 ports instead of having two 4 port hubs chained inside. This is a great companion to your Pi, as they only have one or two USB ports and limited powering capability - we've tested it with great success on the Pi as well as our Mac and Windows desktop machines

Edit: Never mind you want go straight to SD slots.
