This is wierd.. But when I plug in my Sat to the S-video input or the composite of my vivo it doesn't work under Powerdvr or VirtualVCR. I know it's plugged in correclty because I can use the video out. Virtual VCR gives the error "cannot run virtual Graph" I've tried ti install earlier versons of catalyst but my X800xl becomes unstable (artifacts). Anyone have a similar problom?
 
This is a really stupid question but I have to ask. Can VIVO cards let you watch and record tv? I thought you had to have encoder cards or the ATI AIW series for that.
 
well if your sat/cable reciever outputs via s-video or compsite then vivo cards can just capture would would be displayed on the tv. A feature in my dish network 811 reciever allows me to programming when to tune to a certain channel which I corrisponding record on my comp (if I can get the damn vivo working)
