Does anyone know what the default clock speeds of the PowerColor Radeon 9100 128MB are? I picked up one of these real cheap for my daughter. According to the PowerColor website both the 64MB and 128MB versions come with 250MHz DDR, which means the RAM chips will probably be rated faster than 4ns. There were several available for $79, but everybody passed them by like they had crappy memory. I heard some of the Sapphire models come with 200MHz memory clocks.

Everything I've seen points to PowerColor having 250/250. Sapphire varies. Sometimes I see 250/230, sometimes it's 250/200. Not sure I trust Sapphire specs. I'm going to pick up a couple of PowerColor 9100 128s. AllStarShop.com has them for $106.

The Sapphire 64 MB is 250/230 and comes with 3.5 ns RAM. I can't get the mem to overclock to even 240 MHz without artifacts. The Sapphire 128 is 250/200 and comes with 4 ns RAM. I guess the RAM timings are very aggressive or something. My GPU gets to 275 no problem though. I haven't tried higher.

The Sapphire specs are published right on their website.

Some PowerColor 9100s (OEM) come with 250/183. Dunno which version.

The PowerColor 9100 will be here Monday. I post the stock clock speeds as well as the overclocking results.

Allstarshop.com lists it at 325/310(x2). Link

That's what they list the ATI 9700 Pro at as well.

OK, it's here. The ram was disappointing, 4ns. But it still hit 520MHz (260). The card came clocked at 250/250, the bios was locked! Damn, I have to say all the locked ATI bioses are really getting old. Anyhow, I used Radedit to adjust the clock speeds and flashed the card about 20 times to reach the max stable. The core rocks at 305MHz, so now it is running 305/260 via bios flashing, acceptable.

Why do you try so hard to overclock a video card for someone else?
I didn't know girls played games other than "The Sims Hot Date"
