i just bought a brandnew PC 7870 over an PC r9270x because its quite cheaper.
i wonder how long it will last because the store where i buy it offers only 1 year warranty. considering 7000 series is launch 2012 i assume its an old stock + i dont research much about powercolor quality, i just came up buying it because of the price.

i dont overclock will a power color 7870 last for atleast 2 years?

It should by all means last far longer than that. I have cards from the early 2000s that still work and even one card from 2007 that gets used a lot every day still in a system.

If you give the fan a clean every spring and have reasonable case airflow it should last 5-10 years.
I've never had a card from either AMD or NVDA quit on me.They all were retired for a new model, given to friends or are in boxes at home.
I think they would all still work if plugged in and that's going back to 2001 or so.
Sooo...your new 7870 should be fine. :)

It'll last till it dies or no longer maintains acceptable frame rates to you :)

Probably the frame rates will kill it for you sometime in the future.
