I was setting up the training manuals and the powerpoint for training on an old system I created a year ago.

I am training in an hour.

The power goes out on all floors of the building (apparently there was small fire on one floor with blew a breaker :p ). I needed to make copies so I went next door to another County office.

I finish setting up the copier to do everything and am about to press "Copy" when there power goes out. ;) Naturally, when my coworkers found out about this, I am labeled a electrical jinx. :p Go figure.

The power just turned back on. I don't know for how long.

Now I am going to leave early to go to the region to set up the manuals and do all the work. Always exciting isn't it.

**EDIT**
BTW, try going up and down a narrow stairwell with only some emergency lights. 6-7 floors up and down. ;) :p On the bright side, I guess this is a mid day workout.

Fortunately when the power goes out here, the generator kicks in... and if that one blows, there's a backup generator.

It takes alot to knock this building out of commission due to power loss.

Remember a couple years ago when the whole northeast lost power.... we had it here in the building... AC and all. It was a pleasure to come to work on those days. lol

Hahaha... yeah we have a backup as well, but I think because it was an electrical fire on the main breaker, they had to shutdown everything to check it.

The power came back on for about 4-5 minutes then totally went out again, and then the neighboring office went out too when I went to make copies.

BTW, the training went well. I was just a bit behind schedule.
