I was setting up the training manuals and the powerpoint for training on an old system I created a year ago.
I am training in an hour.
The power goes out on all floors of the building (apparently there was small fire on one floor with blew a breaker
). I needed to make copies so I went next door to another County office.
I finish setting up the copier to do everything and am about to press "Copy" when there power goes out.
Naturally, when my coworkers found out about this, I am labeled a electrical jinx.
Go figure.
The power just turned back on. I don't know for how long.
Now I am going to leave early to go to the region to set up the manuals and do all the work. Always exciting isn't it.
**EDIT**
BTW, try going up and down a narrow stairwell with only some emergency lights. 6-7 floors up and down.
On the bright side, I guess this is a mid day workout.
