My old MB just died, so I went out and got an Aopen AK79D-400VN. Pretty nice, pretty cheap, and it has temperature-regulated fan speed control built in, apparently for the CPU fan and 2 case fans.

It also has a 2-pin header on the edge of the board near the CPU socket. The silk screen reads "powertemp". There's nothing in the manual about it, but it kind of leads one to believe that a temperature sensor from the PSU could be plugged into it.

Does anyone know about this connector? Are newer power supplies incorporating temperature sensors? It would be nice to be able to regulate the PSU fan speed from one of the case fan connectors on the MB.
