Power Surge on Hub Port (Front USB Problem)..then BSOD

My computer has all of a sudden started giving me a warning whenever I plug any USB into the front of my case. It will say something like "power surge on hub port," then it will show me all these usb ports and have 2 of them with warning symbols (my front has 2). I have the option to reset or cancel, but usually i get the bsod and my comp restarts. I don't have any problems on any of the other USB ports. What should I do to stop it?? THX
