power suppy question

hey
i was wondering

i have a turbo gamer x-pider 21" aluminium case with the turbolink 420W power supply...

it comes with like 4 case fans with LEDS and stuff and i was having problems running my radeon 9500 pro on it and as soon as i unplugged some of teh fans it worked.
so now i have maybe 1 of the 4 fans connected...

my rig is an athlonxp 2100+, nforce2, 512mb pc2700, wd special edition caviar 80gig and i only have a cdrw drive.

so im thinking this power supply is a lil shady, cuz im thinkin on gettin more stuff (arent we all 😀) and it just worries me that this PS cant even handle this barebones system with more than 1 fan...

is it worthwile buying a new one?

also, im running out of connectors to plug the fans in... any solutions?

Either that, or never plug in half your stuff.

Get a good quality PSU like an Antec or Enermax.

I have no idea how accurate it is, but I suspect it is a pretty good guide.

I don't think his prob is a lack of rated power but a PS that either can't live up to its rating or just sucks.
