Power Supply

I have a power supply that has two power connectors. One is square like and the other is retangular. My motherboard has these two type of connections. Do i have to connect both or can i just use the rectangular one by itself. WHat's the difference? (MSI NFORCE 4 SLI)

connect both, and more if they are present

generally, you want EVERY power cable you can plug into your MB connected, for best stability

Some will run even if you don't plug the square one in. But most that have that connector now require that you use it - it provides 12V power to the CPU regulators for more stable operation.
