Power Supply Voltages

Hi guys,

A quick question regarding my power supply. These value are from speedfan

3.3v = 3.25v
5v = 4.89v
12v = 2.50v

-12v = -16.72v
-5v = -8.58v
+5v = 5.05v

Is the +12v value suppose to be that low? BIOS says its 11.9v though. Reason I'm asking is because I'm having trouble overclocking my system in Vista. The mouse cursor just disappears (even tho its still working) after a period of time. I've run memtest to check the ram and doesn't give any errors. Not too sure what else to try.

Software readouts of voltages are never to be trusted. Whip out the good old multimeter and check your PSU yourself if you want to know if it's failing on you or not. I kind of doubt it though, because you've got a qaulity PSU.

Perhaps you should ask in the CPUs forum, and explain your overclocking trouble ?

I agree the only way to be sure of the PSU is a good multimeter!
