Power supply unit - Codegen 300W

I have had a lot of problems with lockups after installing a Geforce 6800LE in my computer. I have an old Codegen 300W PSU and I beleive that this is the root of all evil 😉

Look at the +5.00 V. The Codegen 300W only seems to distribute 4,08V!!!! Should I just throw it away, stomp on it and burn it or?

I would say stomp on it, burn it then either blow it up or throw it away.

Yes, that +5V mark is terrible - check it with a Digital Meter before burning it.
