My friend is looking to upgrade his power supply. He has a lot of devices, 4 hard drives, 2 optical drives, some fans, and other stuff, which means he needs a quality power supply that can handle the load, and also have enough connectors for all his devices. Thanks for the help!

Answer= Enermax, Antec, Sparkle, and other High Quality 1's @ least 350-400wt from what I read

Thanks for the suggestions. Now, how do I know how many connectors these power supplies have? I looked on the newegg website, but it doesn't show this info, does it?

Most newer PSUs have 7 x 4-pin molex connectors and 2 x floppy connectors in addition to the main ATX connector and 2 supplementary connectors for P4 boards. You'll have 3 lines, 2 x 2 molex/1 floppy, 1 x 3 molex. Some PSUs also have extra pseudo-molex (only have the line and ground) connectors for fan plugs. Most add-in periphs that require a molex will provide a Y-adapter, I've got tons around now, so I didn't mind cuttin a few up for fan tails on my rheobus.

I'd get a 430 Watt enermax, it should have PLENTY of power connectors.

In fact, here's one on ebay that has 8 fullsize, and two fansize.

I bought my 350 Watt enermax from this guy and was very satisfied.

If it was me buying the power supply for that system I would only get an Enermax EG465AX-VE(W) FCA.
This is a "Whisper" model and comes with manual fan speed control for the exhaust fan!
This PSU also will turn off one of the two fans when the computer goes into sleep mode!

This Power Supply is sold at Newegg for $109 and has more power on the 12V rail than an Antec TruPower 550:Q

One thing I like about Antec Truepower is that you can get LED fans in them which look great in a windowed case.

I know everyone always either recommends antec and enermax but what about fortron and the other high rating psus out there? It seems as though no one knows about these and not very many people use them. However spec and test wise they seem to outperform both antec and enermax and for alot cheaper too! For instance the variation on the 3.3 and 5v lines are only 1%. Just my two cents.
