I've obtained a few older 17" monitors for dirt cheap and have been playing around with multiple monitors lately. I'll be picking up a few Matrox Mystique's as they are a good, cheap solution for extra monitors.

I've got the following setup:

Athlon XP 1700+
Asus A7N266
512MB DDR
CDROM
CDRW
SB Audigy
Geforce2 MX400 32MB

300W Power supply.

Will the PSU be enough to run the following:

Geforce2MX400 -> Main monitor
2 X Matrox Mystiques -> Two secondary monitors
(Possibly just for fun) a third Mystique running a 15" monitor

I've had no issues running my main monitor plus one secondary (with the voodoo2 drivers that hack it into thinking it's a 2d card)

If needed I could take out the Audigy, my onboard sound works just fine for my purposes anyway. I'll be building a new PC sometime soon and will have a high quality power supply for these needs, just wondering if this will be okay in the meantime. Multiple monitors are fun :)

You never stated who makes or Manu's the PSU ...if it is of quality then it'll work as the PSU has nothing to do with the Monitors being worked, just the Vid cards and Rig set-up
