Power Supply Related?

I heard that you need at least 300w powersupply to run a Geforce 3 and above or else it won't work. Is this true?

No it isn't. So long as you have a quality PS, you are fine.

Hmmm...I had a bad experience with a Geforce 3. After installing a Visiontek Geforce 3 on my buddy's Emachines, the cd-roms wouldn't work, and the screen would just turn black.
