I'm probably going to buy this system:
AMD Athlon XP 2100+
2x Maxtor 60Gb 7200 HD
Plextor cd-writer
Dvd-rom 16x/48x
GF4-4400 vidcart
audigy soundcard

And an Enermax powersupply...

Just 2 questions about this...
1.) Should I buy a 350W or a 433W model, would the 350W be enough?
2.) Does the 433W model make more noise?

Last time I checked the Enermax 350w was approved for XP 2100 + so will work fine, however you`ve to take into account what extra hardware that will be installed and if you plan to overclock etc ,plus future hardware upgrades, so if you`ve the money the Enermax 431w will be more future proof then the 350w and allow you to upgrade and expand your system for a longer period of time.

I actually have both 350w & 431w (EG365P-VE & EG465P-VE) and to be honest not much difference with noise between the two.

Thats a great power supply and it is plenty big enough plus with the dual fans it helps cool the cpu some.
