Power Supply Question

Was told I needed a new power supply. Bought from Newegg. It is a 400w supply, but it does not have the back on-off switch like the small supply has. Is this common and should I be concerned and return.
 
Doesn't have a switch? That's pretty odd. Personally I would recommend getting one. Sometimes when it storms over here, and the power flicks off, I have to flip that switch off, unplug everything, then plug it back in to get the computer to turn back on.
 
It's not a problem. A lot of them are like that. I've got an ANTEC 400wt and ti doesn't have ao on/off switch in the back either.
If you need to shut your system off by killing the power, hold your power button on the case in for about 7 seconds and it will kill the power.
