Power supply question

I have a Antec Neopower 480W power supply; the connector is 20 pin, so I guess it's the older ATX 1.2 spec. My motherboard is a Biostar T-Force 965PT, which has a 24 pin ATX connector. Anyone know if it's safe to plug it in directly, or should I buy an 24 pin adapter? I didn't see anything on Biostar's website. Thanks for your help...
