Power supply question.

I have an old HP with a 100 watt PS. Can I use a larger PS? I can't seem to find any 100w PS's. Any help greatly appreciated.

If you can find a PS that will Fit into the HP Case, a bigger PS should be fine

The system will only draw what power it needs, regardless of the rating of the psu. If the rig draws 90w of power, it will pull the same 90w from a 100w psu or a 500w psu.

Do a Google search for the PS you now have in your case and you should get tons of links to vendors selling higher wattage units that will fit.
Search for the PS brand name... wattage... and the model number of your HP.

Is it an ATX powersupply? It might be a little tough finding one if it's an older AT powersupply.

A friend of mine has an old HP (8575C), that has a full size ATX MB but only a micro-ATX PS.
