Power Supply problem

Hi my graphics card has underclocked itself claiming it does not have enough power. It is a single nvidia 6800 gt and I have a 600W Enermax supply. The grfx card and processor(athlon 64 3000+) were not overclocked at the time.
It only has only happened in the middle of Far Cry so far but I have not tested it on many other games? All power connectors are in and attached to grfx card
Any ideas what might be going wrong?

Because it dumps me back into windows and gives me a message about, Nivida Sentinel I think underclocking the card because it is not getting sufficient power. Also if you then check the core settings both the core and memory have been clocked at some way below its 370/1000 operating frequency.

This isn't a dual rail psu is it? If so, dump your videocard on the other rail.

I think it is a dual-rail power supply. Sorry I'm a bit of an ignoramus when it comes to PSUs. How would I dump the card back to another rail?

Unfortunately the metal socket in the other power connector is slightly misaligned and won't fit in my graphics card! I think the best thing might be to ask for a replacement.
