Power supply problem...(random reboot)

Im having a little trouble with my system... its been rebooting randomly... i thought it was my memory but i put in a new stick and it still restarted. So off i went to format... but during reinstall of OS it rebooted again. It cant be my overclock because i put it back to default. Its not XP either because it hasnt even been installed yet and it did it again. Now its either the PS, my GF3, or my HDs. I sure as hell hope its not my hard drives. I just need to know how to turn on a PS without attaching it to the motherboard. I know you have to connect two wires together but i just can't find it. Im planning on using two PSs just to find out... thanks guys.
