Power Supply on GA-965P-DS3

Hi. My DS3 has 2 areas in the manual it mentions for power. I have a Core 2 Duo E6300. Anyway, my power supply has a 20 pin + 4 pin bunched together that I hooked in to the first area mentioned. The manual also mentions a 4 pin off to the side. Do I need to hook another 4p from my power supply to that?

Yes, plug the 20+4 in as you did then there's a 2x2, 4 pin 12V connector from the PSU that is usually two black and two yellow wires. This connector supplies power to the CPU via the VRM subcircuit and on any modern board it is essential that it be connected.
