Power supply, i got 250 but runnto HUGE problems!!

You can check the rig. i am on a 250watt power with many fans.

what i experince when heavy activity, is keyboard resets, cdr turns off and hardrive (secondary) constantly reseting!!!

This cause win2k to almost crsh like not beeing ableQ

Maybe your PS is going bad? hmm,, 250 should be enough for what you run.. nothing too power hungry. Id say maybe set it back to stock .. no OC and reconfig the voltage on the mainboard to default

Power Hungry = stuff in your computer. If you have multiple HDs and Multiple CD roms and say a mainboard with all slots full and a processor that takes a lot..

Yeah, well i have two hdd, cdr, dvd, the cpu is the last of the katmai's which uses and releases lots oh heat!! (60c at idle). Gf256 DDR, SB DE, two network cards 1 usb and 1 pci, a SCSI card, 3 128 ram.
4 external fans,

Well sounds like it "could" be your power supply. Thats my first impulse when I hear that problem.. lets see what others think b4 you go out to buy a new PS.

arh, i tried a new power today, and found the power was screwed so soon to get one.
