Power supply help

I got a new power supply and plugged everything in... when I boot up the computer it makes three beeps, the first one is long and the last two are short.... my monitor wont display anything and after about 30 the comp shuts down... its a PC.... please help....

Looks like a video card problem. Make sure the vid card is seated correctly. Also, if you have a really new vid card, I know some require a 4 pin power connecter actually on the card itself because the monsters need so much juice to run. If those don't work, you may have discharged some static electricity when you installec the power supply and fried your vid card :(
