I have an Antec sx-840 with a 400W power supply....PP412x. According to Antec, there are a couple of wires (blue and black) with a 3 pin connector that run out of the PS for fan monitoring. I have that connector properly seated into the "Fan 3" plug (Power Supply Fan) on an Epox 8kha+ mobo and cannot get a reading to register in the bios...CPU chassis fan reading is zero. Does anyone have any info on this problem? I have used the 1-08 and 3-14 bioses and both versions do not register a value. Thank you!

are you talking about wanting an rpm monitor for the fan?

did you try one of the other mobo headers?

** edit cause at first i didnt understand what you meant :)

Thanks for the replys guys, I got it figured out. I moved the connector down to the "Fan 2-Chassis fan" plug (just barely had a long enough wire!). The bios is now reporting a fan speed (about 2700 rpm). Had it in the wrong place all along! All is well now :). Thanks again...
