Power Supply Cable Question

I lost my power cable for the http://www.tweaknews.net/revie...600_watt_power_supply/"]Ultra 600W[/URL] power supply. Talking about the fat cable that plugs into power supply and wall socket shown in bottom the image

I found a cable like that in my mess of cables, but it was connected to a brick type dc adaptor. The plug says 10A 125V. I also found another cable that says 10A 250V and temp as 60C/75C. Will I be able to use these cables for the PSU ?

I checked the wire connected to my other PSU, it is a lot fatter and also says 10A/125V and has temp mentioned as 105C.

The PC that connects is Athlon II X2 , HD 4670, 1 HDD, 4GB DDR3.

If not where can I buy a similar cable ?

Yeah, use whatever fits, you'll be ok.

Go 250V and say bye bye to PSU! different countries has different operating voltages and your power supply will work or be set accordingly...
if your other PSU is 125V then thats what you go for

How would this possibly hurt his PSU? He's just talking about a cable...copper wire with some insulation and jacket. Am I missing something? I'm willing to admit it if I'm mistaken

Maybe the current works a bit differently where you are.. like i said it varies in different countries. where i live in sa we owrk with 240V only. when using even a 125V cable we would need to change the voltage switch on PSU and 240V on 125V PSU will blow immediately. have seen it happen a few times. i know in some other countries like china its the other way round. 125V instead of 240V

i correct myself though by saying its 240V where i live. we work with 230

Um, no. Well yes on the it will go bad if you put 240v in a PSU set to 120v, but it doesn't matter what cable he uses. If he uses the 240v cable and his source is 120v his PSU will still be getting only 120v
