Ok Ive got an enermax powersupply.

Now Im upset with my vcore. I set it to 1.7 which is the max I can goto with my IT7.

Without even being in load its always reporting at around 1.66-1.68

And under load it dips down to 1.64

My 12v 5v and 3.3v lines are great its just the vcore that I dont like. I know I can hit 149 fsb with the extra vcore but I dont want to do the vcore mod the pin trick

It's not the PSU, it's the motherboard.
You probably got one that made by ECS, that's why the VCore is so bad... i heard about it allreay a few times.

I can confirm, what TheHunter is saying.

From my own tests and various comments here in the forum, I can say, that the mobo is probably responsible for the lower Vcore.

The PSU itself is more responsible, that the Vcore is stable idle vs. full load.

When I replaced my generic 300W PSU with a TSP 420W, still the Vcore was only 1.63 instead of 1.65 (as set in the bios), however since I replaced the old one, the Vcore is always between 1.62 and 1.63 even at full load. With the old one the amplitude was much bigger.

Cheers
Speedy
